Tasha’s business brings together lots of things she loves. Qigong and shiatsu, rooted in Chinese medicine, alongside sauna rituals, foraged herbal teas and seaweed foot baths made with seaweed from her local beach. Tasha truly is the heart of her business, and her warmth and kindness shine through everything she does, which is what made me super excited to work with her.
She’d built a successful business in Bristol, but moving to Devon meant starting again with new clients. Social media didn’t come naturally to her, finding images for regular posts was a struggle, and her new website relied on selfies and stock photos that just didn’t feel like her.
We put together a shoot plan based on the Five Elements of Chinese medicine, giving each part of her business its own element and its own feel.
Shiatsu was earth: warm tones, calm and grounding.
For foraging and qigong we went into the woods to explore the wood element, with open skies and lots of space. The sauna rituals were all about heat and energy, bringing together fire and water. Then we finished on the beach in cool blues for the water element and her seaweed foraging.
It was one shoot, but we included loads of different feels, and it’s given her absolutely loads of content for her socials and website.
The photos have made such a big difference to her website, making it way more visually exciting and cohesive. All the images are personal to her now and look like her brand. Since she started using them on social media she’s had so many positive comments, and she’s been able to create templates so her Instagram looks really on brand. She’s also used them for her paperwork and print advertising.
And her sauna rituals have sold out, which has been so lovely to see.
