EVENTS AND RETREATS

Story-led images that capture the energy and connection of your events and retreats.

EVERY RETREAT HAS ITS OWN FEELING, ITS OWN RHYTHM AND ENERGY.

Group of hikers standing on a grassy hill overlooking a coastal scene with green cliffs, a cove with blue water, and sailboats in the distance.
A black background with an irregular gray triangle in the center.

My job is to understand that feeling quickly, and to find my place within it rather than disrupt it.

I'm discreet enough that your guests can relax and forget the camera is there, but present enough to feel what’s happening in the room, or on the hillside, or in the water. That’s what makes the difference between images that document an event and images that capture what it actually felt like to be there.

I’m there for the obvious moments: the group shot, the workshop in full swing.

But I’m just as interested, if not more so, in what else is happening. The quiet conversation over breakfast, the thought and care behind every detail, the look on someone’s face halfway through a session they weren’t sure they’d enjoy, spontaneous hugs between new friends. Those are the images that end up mattering most, because they’re the ones that actually tell people what it felt like to be there.

Running a retreat or event takes everything you’ve got. The last thing you should be worrying about on the day is getting the photos. When you’re busy hosting, welcoming guests and making sure everything runs smoothly, it’s almost impossible to capture the atmosphere and the moments that make your event worth talking about.

That’s where I come in. I’ll take care of the photography completely, so you can be fully present on the day and focused on what you do best.

What you’ll come away with is a collection of images that work across your website, social media, press and marketing, giving you fresh, story-led content that sells your next retreat before you've even written a word. And beyond all of that, you’ll have a beautiful record of something you worked hard to create, and something your guests will remember long after they've gone home.
